**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain all SQL databases, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot SQL server instances, database software, and related technologies
- Design and implement database backup and recovery strategies, as well as disaster recovery plans
- Monitor and tune database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and other issues
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and other database objects
- Create and maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and procedures
- Manage database security, including user accounts, permissions, and access controls

**Requirements**:

- Relevant SQL certifications \ Degree \ Diploma
- 3+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator, with a strong focus on SQL infrastructure and query language and a minimum of 5+ Years experience working the DBA Field
- In-depth knowledge of SQL server architecture and related technologies, such as Always On Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances
- Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Azure MySQL, Azure SQL Edge, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Synapse experience is beneficial
- Strong skills in database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience with database backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
- Proficiency in SQL query language, as well as scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex database issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with developers, stakeholders, and other team members
