**Full job description**

Main Purpose of Job: Barman (Male or Female)

The Barman plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests in the bar area. The primary responsibility of the Barman is to prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages promptly and with a friendly demeanour. Additionally, the Barman will ensure that the bar area is well-stocked, maintained, and adheres to all health and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Beverage Preparation and Service**:

- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including, wines, spirits, beers, and soft drinks.
- Interact with guests to take orders, suggest drink options, and ensure exceptional customer service.

**2. Bar Operations**:

- Always maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Restock bar supplies and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure all glassware, utensils, and bar equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Follow standard recipes and preparation techniques to deliver consistent and high-quality beverages.

**3. Guest Engagement**:

- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering personalized service and anticipating their needs.
- Provide information about the bar menu, including specials and promotions.

**4. Knowledge and Compliance**:

- Stay updated on the latest beverage trends, new products, and industry innovations.
- Comply with all liquor licensing regulations and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the bar area.

Pay: R6 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month
