Trailer Technicians

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out maintenance and repairs on side loaders, interlink, and dry freight semi-trailers according to manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all trailers are roadworthy and compliant with safety regulations.
- Perform brake tests, mechanical inspections, and report on findings.
- Inspect and repair chassis, suspension, bearings, ABS systems, wiring, lights, and couplings.
- Conduct condition reports on key components, including floors, protection bars, and load boxes.
- Maintain accurate and complete job cards and documentation.
- Adhere to SHEQ policies, housekeeping standards, and breakdown safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in trailer maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work independently and use own toolbox with relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of Henred, BPW, and Weweler systems.
- Competent in mechanical, air suspension, and ABS repair work.
- Computer literate - able to reprogram trailer modulators and ABS systems.
- Familiar with SHEQ rules and safe working practices.

Pay: R12 500,00 per month
