Our client, Broodryk Kotzé Incorporated, has an opportunity for an Audit Manager to join their team.

**Primary responsibilities including but not limited to**:
Reporting to the directors, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and reviewing of audit and other engagement files, the training and development of staff, audit and other engagement administration, staff administration, client and director liaison, relationship building and self-development. Primary tasks include:
- Planning, execution and review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures)
- Complete and manage engagements within budgets and deadlines
- Monitoring of the audit trainees’ training program in line with SAICA’s requirements
- Monitoring, maintenance and development of quality control policies and procedures
- Staying up to date with the latest technical standards
- Maintain or establish client relationships by understanding and anticipating client expectations
- Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously
- Liaising with clients, staff, and directors
- Managing and motivation staff
**Desired experience and requirements**:
- Honours degree with completed SAICA articles
- Post trainee, Audit Manager experience of at least one year
- Already registered as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) or in the process thereof
- Must have the desire to ultimately register as a Registered Auditor (RA) and therefore see a future for themselves within the auditing profession
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (verbally and in writing) (REQUIREMENT)
- Experience in compilations, reviews and audits with knowledge of accounting, auditing and regulatory professional standards
- Strong technical ability (IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing, tax legislation)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport, willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills: MS Office, Pastel, Xero, Sage and Draftworx
- Detail orientated
- Ability to cope under pressure and achieve deadlines
- Strong project management skills
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wellington, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
