Minimum of 5 years working experience as QA Manager in a FMCG plant

Responsible for maintaining and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance System (QMS) - Abattoir, Deboning Plant and Meat Packing Plant

Food Safety Procedures (GMP / HACCP)

FSSC 22000 and Plant ZA Export Certification accreditation maintenance

Accountable for all audit processes - both internal and external

Responsible for Traceability of Raw Materials, Packaging and Final Product

Responsible for Total Hygiene and Housekeeping Policies, procedures and work instructions formulation and writing there off

Responsible for ensuring that the Pest Control Service Provider complies with the code of Practice

Raw Material Control and Supplier Quality Assurance

Responsible for Trending Customer Complaints and RTV’s

Microbiological Control within the factory

Factory trials, Pre-production, Launches

Continuous Improvement on QMS

Staff training - Quality Management System, GMP and HACCP

Working with State Veterinary and Department of Agriculture on Feedlot and Abattoir regulations and the Meat Safety Act - HAS Audits

Responsible to maintain and improve on all VACCP & TACCP programs

Responsible to oversee the QA department and Quality Controllers
