**Duration of Contract**: fixed term contract ending 30 September 2028

**Main Purpose of the Job** The purpose of this position is to support the Grants Manager with the management and delivery of various grants’ programmes and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the grants team.

**Key Performance Areas** Effective Subgrants/Subcontractors Management Budget preparation support Effective tracking of budget expenditure Assist with completion of financial, donor and management reports Effective compliance with donor requirements Establish and maintain effective communication with all relevant stakeholders Effective self-management.

**Required minimum education and training** A relevant certificate or diploma

**Minimum work experience** A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in similar role.

**Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities** Experience working in a donor funded organization with management of USAID grants will be advantageous Previous experience in managing sub grant and contracts is desirable Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and accounting package (SAGE) is desirable Must have a dynamic and compatible personality, able to effectively communicate and interact with clients, donors and staff at all levels Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and work as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent time management skills and attention to detail Ability to extract, interpret, analyse and format financial data Ability to work in a pressurized environment and meet deadlines Able to work overtime as and when required to meet deadlines Available to commence work immediately.
