**JUNIOR STOCK CONTROLLER - WEST RAND - R12000 to R14000**

A vacancy exists for the position of Junior Stock Controller based on the West Rand of Johannesburg.

Key duties include (but are not limited to):

- Maintaining cleanliness, security, and organization of inventory within assigned areas.
- Count and record stock received according to procedures.
- Keep stock items always organized and readily accessible.
- Inspect items in stock for defects or damage and report findings to the manager.
- Conduct investigations into stock discrepancies and report findings to the manager
- Design, develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Track inventory and create reports.
- Conduct stock takes, stock reconciliations.
- Reconciliation of stock inter branch/warehouse transfers.
- Proactive / Problem Solver
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and execute to achieve desired results

Qualifications and experience required:

- Grade 12/matric
- Related degree (preference will be given to degreed individuals)
- Previous experience of at least one year in a similar position highly preferred
- Previous cycle count experience.
- Computer literacy (SAP experience an advantage)
