As of 2019, Hisense's refrigerators had a sales volume share of 29% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue also at 26% and ranking first. Hisense's televisions had a sales volume share of 26% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue at 24% and ranking second. **Order Desk Management** Handling and overseeing the sales orders for large household appliances, often referred to as "white goods" (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, etc.). Manages the complete lifecycle of a sales order, from when a customer places an order to the delivery of the product and after-sales service. **Job description** - Capturing customer orders, typically through various channels (e.g., online, in-store, or phone). - Ensuring the products ordered are available and checking pricing, discounts, and promotions. - Ensuring the ordered white goods are available in stock or scheduling their manufacturing if needed. - Co-ordinating purchase orders to sales orders. - Clear understanding of how logistics and Order department works hand in hand, together with Product Line and Sales. - Attention to detail is critical and understanding truck load quantities and the basic MOQ. - Assigning products from inventory to specific orders. - Coordinating with logistics to plan and schedule delivery of large appliances to customers’ homes or businesses. - installation services may need to be coordinated with the delivery process. - Managing payments, whether immediate or scheduled (credit terms). - Handling warranties, including tracking eligibility and coverage for repairs or replacements. - Managing returns, exchanges, or refunds, particularly for damaged goods or incorrect orders. - Organizing maintenance or repair services for white goods after delivery. - Tracking sales data, customer preferences, and product performance. - Monitoring how fast white goods are moving through inventory to avoid overstock or stockouts. **Requirements**: - Matric + a related qualification in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, - Intermediate Excel skills, and SAP - Experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations is highly valued. - Ability to address issues related to order fulfillment, delivery, and customer service promptly. - Ensuring accuracy in order entry, inventory management, and invoicing is critical. Independent person that can think and make logical decisions based on training provided.
