**Descriptions**:

- Arrange collections with freight agents and get quotes from different agents to secure best rate.
- Reconcile freight account
- Maintain goods dispatched register
- Write out manual delivery notes as applicable
- Process Return to Stores notes
- Dispatch of goods as per delivery notes and stock transfer notes
- Physically check that items delivered agree to delivery note
- Only dispatch goods to approved customers where order number has been obtained
- Ensure all delivery notes are signed by the customer or freight agent
- Issue parts / raw material to jobs in accordance with Material Requisitions
- Assist and supervise storeman as necessary
- Receipts of all goods, including raw material for coatings
- Agree goods received to delivery note and make out Goods Receipt Note accordingly
- Ensure goods received are correctly recorded for data capture in the correct time period
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders
- Assist procurement manager with obtaining competitive quotes for local purchases
- Responsibility for safety practice involving our procedures equipment and facilities
- All safety hazards that are identified are immediately reported to supervisor and safety department
- All workplace safety incidents, including serious near misses, are reported to supervisor immediately
- Any employee or visitor observed in an unsafe act or condition in informed of the hazard and proper safety procedures
- All health concerns or limitations that could affect performing work safely an without injury are communicated to supervisor
- All work is conducted utilizing safe work practices and in compliance with FMC safety policies and guidelines
- Required personal protective equipment is worn during all work assignments
- Instructions on all chemical labels are followed carefully and hazardous materials and waste are handled in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
- Full cooperation and assistance is provided to both complete incident investigations within two working days and implement corrective actions
- Scheduled safety meetings are attended
- All safety rules and regulations posted in customer’s plant are observed

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- Course in Inventory Management advantageous
- Minimum 2 years in a stores environment
- Product knowledge advantageous
- Able to do queries on Syspro
- MS Outlook advantageous
- Able to work unsupervised
