We’re looking for a Copywriter with excellent writing, proofreading and research skills to help us elevate all copy and writing work being developed by the agency. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the client service and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.
Minimum three to four years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work, please include a link to your relevant portfolio or examples of your work.
Objectives of this role
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
Copywriting - writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends.
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging. What you’ll do:
Daily and monthly responsibilities
Proofreading and Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.
Review and proofread all copy created in the agency to ensure it is correct and in line with the relevant client brief and objectives to achieve.
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction.
You must be able to manage all administration, attend all project meetings/briefings and be able to present work clearly and professionally. Project management
Liaising with the traffic manager and client services teams regarding the progress of work.
Taking briefs from the Client Services teams submitted through CHASE.
Meeting client services teams to discuss their needs.
Solicit and assimilate copy feedback, establish priorities and oversee copy and concept-related revisions and implementation.
You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines and work on more than one brief/project at a time. Creative process
Collaborate with your creative team from concept development to delivery of final product.
Interpret creative briefs to assist in developing and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.

Exceptional writing and research skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
Excellent organisational skill and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guide a plus.
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
