Refurbishment Supervisor

Job Description:
The successful incumbent in this role will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and can take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. The package is based on a fixed basic salary. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

What you will be responsible for:

- Responsible for the refurbishment of all devices that are received: Laptops, PC's, Switches, Servers, Mobile Phones, Tablets etc
- Verify licensing status on Cisco and other switches.
- Troubleshoot and test firewalls
- Responsible for accurate tracking of devices, from collection to dismantling or sale with client reports provided within client SLAs
- Supervise refurbishment team and train and upskill members as required
- Ensure systems are up to date and accurate for reporting purposes.
- Ensure accuracy of all stock that is refurbished and to be sold on e-commerce or other avenues
- Responsible for E-commerce order delivery process, ensuring accuracy of stock to waybills and delivery to clients timeously
- Reporting and forecasting of all refurb stock processing and processing capacities, for the monthly report, details updated daily.
- Status updates on all projects as required by Management and Sales
- Problem-solving and generating of procedures to create further efficiencies.
- Strategic planning and calculating for workshop and warehouse.
- Advising management on Operations improvement possibilities where necessary.
- Technically oversee and assist with configurations for refurbishment team on improvement areas and set up to maximise the productivity and increase the volume processed
- Ensure all Risk and SHEQ compliance is maintained in the Ops Division
- Building a strong staff complement.
- Any other tasks delegated by superiors.

- Strong understanding of LAN and Networking, with switch configuration and testing
- Cisco Switches and Routers as well as Dell, HP, IBM Server knowledge is essential
