Applications are invited from persons interested to fill the above‑mentioned position. The incumbent will be appointed on a permanent basis. The position is based at the Legal Aid SA National Office in Braamfontein. Position Purpose Responsible for the facility management of Legal Aid House; management of electronic access control and fire system; monitor and maintain CCTV security systems; ensure Health and Safety compliance; manage and supervise security and cleaning contractors. Supervise Switchboard Operators, Office Assistant and Infrastructure Officer. Manage and supervise construction and refurbishments at National Office and all Local Offices / Satellite Offices as per request. Key Performance Areas Manage and maintain the National Office access control and regularly test the security measures in place. Ensure the availability of telecommunication equipment at National Office. Ensure efficiency of Switchboard Operators. Responsible for the expedient and routine maintenance of all assets at National Office. Responsible for the expedient and routine maintenance of the National Office building. Responsible for maintenance budget and routine services as per contracts. Manage and maintain the cleanliness of National Office. Manage and ensure efficiency of physical security personnel. Ensure availability of fire extinguishers in the National Office building and the proper demarcation of the fire escape routes. Manage refurbishments and renovations projects at National Office, Local Offices and Satellite Offices as per instruction. Supervise Office Receptionists and Infrastructure Officer. Qualifications Required a diploma in Facility / Infrastructure Management with 5 years' working experience in a relevant field. Two years' working experience as Supervisor.
