Assist the Fleet Manager in overseeing the administration and management of AVBOB’s fleet operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvements across fleet operations.
- Manage and execute budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting specific to fleet operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Conduct detailed cost accounting and financial analysis to monitor fleet operational costs, aiding in decision-making and financial optimization.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure fleet operations integrate smoothly with AVBOB’s broader financial and operational goals.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers to secure cost-effective services and supplies for fleet operations.
- Oversee fleet utilization and maintenance schedules to maximize the lifespan and efficiency of all vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations within the fleet operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers, manage insurance coverage, and handle claims effectively.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to the team within the fleet department, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial management and cost accounting, ideally within a fleet management environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
