**Requirements**:

- A relevant 3 Year Qualification (LLB Degree/relevant 3 year

tertiary qualification within the Built Environment)
- 5 years’ or more relevant experience (within a contracts

management environment)
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- A valid driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Implementation of Corporate Contract Management Policy,

Framework, Guidelines and Protocols

experience in the implementation of Contract Lifecycle
Management, including contractual disputes, breaches
or poor performance within the Department
- Provide advice, best practice and guidance to Management

in relation to any Contract Lifecycle Management aspect
- Facilitate, oversee and monitor Contract Dispute Resolution

mechanisms, as and when applicable
- Analyse, interpret and report on contract management

information (non-financial and financial) and ensuring no
UIFW
- Quality assurance of reports associated with the Contract

Management function in accordance with the applicable
Regulatory Framework/s, Guidelines and Protocols
- Transversal Contract Stakeholder Management to effectively

meet the service delivery imperatives of the Department
- Execute a contract management function for all contracts

after tender award in line with the Contracts Management
Framework, applicable Policy, procedures and legislation
- Develop, operationalise and provide training and facilitation

relevant to the Department’s standardised Contract
Management systems and processes
