**Job Title: Service Consultant - Underwriting Client Care (Short-Term Insurance) - PSG Insure STA**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Interaction**:Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the underwriting process.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
Provide clear and accurate explanations of underwriting procedures, policies, and requirements.

**Policy Application Processing**:Collect and review client information to assess underwriting risks.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Ensure that all required underwriting documentation is complete and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation and information.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with underwriters, claims, and other relevant departments to address client needs.
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall department efficiency and effectiveness.

**Problem Resolution**:Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in underwriting processes.
Address client complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate channels for resolution.

**Compliance**:Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards.
Ensure that all underwriting activities adhere to legal and company policies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a customer service or client care role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of short-term insurance products and underwriting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)
