- Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software in line with IT Policy
- Provide one on one training on hardware and software usage when needed
- Update and maintain computer inventory and surplus equipment
- Backup of systems and users’ data
- Maintain and resolve issues on LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, Biometric, Video systems and other computing equipment
- Ensure client computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems
- Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with IT equipment and software
- A good understanding of Information and Communication Technology

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric/Grade 12
- 2 years verifiable working experience as an IT Technician is non-negotiable
- Highly adaptable and able to work in a multi-project environment
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients
