Our client is looking for a qualified engineer to take up the responsibility for the planning, resourcing and execution of all the manufacturing operations at their concern.

The Operations Manager has the sole responsibility for delivering throughput targets on required unit costs and address any variation from this, whilst aligning with the other departments and parties within the organisation.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Working closely with the client's engagement and sales teams to ensure sufficient planning for stock levels to be maintained and orders fulfilled on time and on cost
- The Operations Manager is supported by the Maintenance department and Toolroom
- Coordinate costs with the Finance department and provide active input into the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, as well as lead efficiency and cost improvement projects
- Coordinate with purchasing on stock levels of materials and consumables, including overseeing the planning and execution of imports

**Requirements**:

- BEng or BSc Engineering Degree, with post graduate qualification advantageous
- Minimum 5 years production management experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, with 3 years being in a senior leadership role
- Experience in identifying, executing and delivering on improvement projects in a high volume manufacturing environment
- proven logical and critical thinking skills
- Strong business acumen
- Incumbent would need to reside in PMB / surrounds or be prepared to relocate._
