Overview / Responsibilities:
**Main Purpose of Role**:
Through a period of training and on the job learning, learns how to support the preparation and reporting of project cost budgets, and the tracking, management and reporting of project expenditure to enable robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
Under continuous, close supervision and with support and guidance, learns how to assist in the preparation and reporting of project cost budgets, in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures and standards. This will typically involve the review, analysis and reporting of actual and forecasted project costs against the project approved budget.

**Role Specific Responsibilities**
- Support with procurement, finance and time-capture functions, and third parties as required, to support accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials, subcontract and labour manhour costs, allocating costs in accordance with approved project WBS
- Support with engineering, procurement and construction functions, and others as required, to maintain awareness of project activities and their impact on the project budget, schedule and cost
- Support the project work approval process in terms of accurate cost code allocation and initial budget set-up and approvals
Assist Monitor cost commitments and expenditures through all phases of project lifecycle
- Provide input to project cost performance reports in accordance with project reporting requirements
- Support the preparation of updates to project cost forecasts
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting on cost impact of project manpower forecasts
- Assist in development of project change orders / variations in accordance with engineering and construction change notifications
- Monitor overall project cost performance and contingency
- Compile Payment Certificates for project
- Update Man-hour expenditure on weekly basis
- Reconciliation of project un-billed revenue versus Billed Revenue
- Participate in Project Controls Compliance and Continuous Improvement Reviews

Skills / Qualifications**:Qualifications**:

- Typically requires qualifications to ISCED level 3 (Upper Secondary) with good level of attainment in maths
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Entry level role, incumbents will typically have less than 2 years experience
- Good general computer skills
