**Personal Profile**
- This role involves the verification of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies including JSE listed and multinational companies. _

**Scope of Work**
- Perform B-BBEE verifications for companies in accordance with the DTI’s B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, all sector codes and internal verification methodology.
- B-BBEE verification is very similar to financial audit and requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and an understanding of financial statements.
- Conduct kick-off meetings without supervision and build strong relationships with clients.
- Interpret, verify, and communicate all elements of the B-BBEE scorecard other than complex ownership structures.
- Prepare a complete verification file to a high standard and conclude on the results.
- Present findings to audiences of up to 8 people.
- Deal with objections and answer challenging questions.
- Deal with conflict situations.
- Answer questions from clients on all BEE related verification and implementation issues.

**Qualifications**

Either of the following:

- Financial Degree / Diploma

**Experience**
- 2 - 3 years work experience in the accounting/finance/costing field or
- 1 - 2 years + B-BBEE Experience
- Have a good understanding of accounting and interpretation of financial systems and financial statements.
- Experience in dealing with clients and with good interpersonal skills.

**Remuneration**
- Basic salary + delivery/performance-based incentive scheme in place which enables strong performers to earn more than their guaranteed salary._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R18,500.00 - R25,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- B-BBEE Verification: 2 years (preferred)
- B-BBEE Consulting: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
