Region MED > SBU MED Sales Region SEUT > Sales SE Africa **Responsibilities**: - The key focus for the individual is to monitor the implementation of various BBBEE initiatives in the following categories: 1. Ownership 2. Management Control 3. Skills Development 4. Enterprise and Supplier Development - Preferential Procurement - Enterprise Development - Supplier Development 5. Socio-Economic Development (SED) - Evaluate, monitor and coordinate the role requirements with a hands-on approach and in coordination with the relevant departments - Ensuring Legislative and internal compliance with B-BBEE Act and Codes, including B-BBEE Scorecard - Ensure timely reports and submissions in the scope - Monitor transformation and B-BBEE legislative changes and updates - Ensure audit and verification processes of Vestas's B-BBEE contributions and compliance are successfully conducted timeously on an annual basis - Draft and develop transformation strategy, action plans and execution thereof, ensuring the alignment and support from the internal stakeholders - Execution of detailed B-BBEE transformation implementation plans and initiatives - Maintain a BEE transformation scorecard - Ensure that all Lines of Businesses and HR are delivering on Employment Equity (EE) as required by the Employment Equity Act which has a direct influence on the Management Control category of the B-BBEE Act - Participate and facilitate discussions, information sessions, communication meetings with internal and external stakeholders about progress in implementing Vestas's Transformation plan - Identify transformation risks and develop risk mitigation plan - Sign off all Financial and Accounting requirements for the Verification Agent in accordance with the B-BBEE Act - Responsible from the forecast, management approval, monitoring and reporting of BBBEE Transformation budget **Qualifications**: - University / Tertiary Institution Qualification - Hands-on experience in Employment Equity and BBBEE processes in large institutions - min. 5 yrs - Be fluent in underlying legislation in the following: - B-BBEE Act - B-BBEE ICT Codes of Good Practice - Employment Equity Act - Skills Development Act - Companies Act - NIPP - Experience with Equity Equivalent Investment Program Skills: - Project Management - Report Writing Techniques - Presentation Techniques - Change Management - Comprehensive business and financial skills - Committed to substantive transformation and diversity in the workplace and externally - Business English is a requirement with a high level of ability to engage with all levels of stakeholers **Competencies**: - Strong in Collaboration skills, working transversally, being both process and result oriented - Assertive with Ability to effectively influence and communicate within all levels of organization. - Ability to connect the BBBEE scope with value creation impact, high organizational skills, and ability to work under time sensitive environments, proven commitment to continuous improvement **What we Offer**: **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
