**Job Purpose**
- The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render a receptionist service for Region 1.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification); A valid code B (or higher) driving license. NB People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

**Recommendation**
- Appropriate administrative experience; Reception experience.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Receive telephonic calls, messages and channel to relevant role players; Welcome, receive and direct clients to relevant units; Provide relevant information as required; Operate office equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers; Liaise with internal and external personal; Operate the 2-way radio; Printing and distribution of telephone bills (internal).

**Competencies**
- Basic computer literacy; Good people skills; High level of reliability; Telephone etiquette; Manage boardroom bookings; Operate photocopier/fax machines and 2-way radio; Flexibility; Typing skills; Planning and organising; Numeracy; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to function under pressure.

**Remuneration**
- R 193 359 - R 227 766 per annum (Salary Level 4)
