Requirements

The Safely and Security /Metropolitan Police Training College, a

section within the Metropolitan Police Department. requires dynamic,

committed, and passionate applicants to fill these positions and

become part of the dedicated team that will support the Safely and

Security Directorate's accredited Training College with ongoing skills

development as well as legislative training.

These positions will focus on the delivery of both accredited and

refresher training, assessment, moderation and innovation and will

work with a team of specialists within the training College to identify

skills gaps and develop interventions to resolve those challenges.

These are exciting opportunities to join a section within the

Directorate and to become part of a team committed to improving

the safety of all through the delivery of innovative training and

development.
- An appropriate Higher Certificate
- Relevant three-year diploma preferred
- Two (2) years' experience as a facilitator
- Additional four (4) years’ relevant experience in a law enforcement

environment preferred
- Valid driver’s licence
- Registered as an assessor and moderator
- Willing to be exposed lo all weather and conditions associated with

training, including but not limited to noise, smoke, long periods

standing/walking
- Willing to be placed on a development programme lo become a

uniform member within the Metro Police
- Willing to work on a shift system based on operational needs
- Preference will be given to applicants with a SAPS and/or

Municipal Policing background.
