Structure, Grade & Reporting Job grade/level S4 Business Unit Converged Communication Department Unified Collaboration & Data Networks Position reports to Executive: Business Development Span of Control 0-5 Core Description Responsible for identifying and winning of new business, through the identification and evaluation of new opportunities, at new clients and existing clients where BCX’s Data Networks, specifically Network Security presence is not well established, ensuring appropriate solutions are provided in line with the organisational and client growth strategy. Advise Business Development and Project Management teams Contributes to functional strategy. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Recognised expert within and beyond own function: progression typically restricted on basis of business requirements. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Business Development with focus on new business Close working relationship and engagement with Sales Manage Relationships with internal Stakeholders and clients Provide Support to Business Development Managers and Compile Sales Reports Drive Strategic initiatives within the Data Networks Division Keep up to date with market conditions and trends, and to understand the impact thereof on business (sales)
Keep up to date with ICT industry developments and trends on a broad basis as well as specific to Security, and to understand the impact thereof on business (Sales) Functional Skills
