Procurement Manager

**VACANCY: PROCUREMENT & IT MANAGER**

**Key Performance Areas**:
**1. General Procurement**
- Effectively manage total procurement policy and processes
- Ensure up-to-date status with all vendors.
- Manage entire procurement tender process from scoping tender documents up to making final recommendations to Tender committee.
- Manage Service Level Agreements for key vendors to ensure that all outsourced deliverables are met on time, on budget and at the expected service levels.
- Within limitations, renegotiate the terms of existing Service Level agreements with suppliers, i.e., review pricing, duration of the contract by mutual agreement and source best quality of product/services.
- Support the operations on all procurement requirements

**2. Compliance**
- Keep abreast of (and adherence to) all procurement / supply chain regulations and industry best practices.
- Responsible for SLP compliance within area of responsibility.
- Responsible for improving Mining Charter compliance within area of responsibility
- Responsible for improving BEE scorecard compliance within area of responsibility
- Adherence and participation in relevant audits.

**3. Stakeholders/Communication**
- Effective participation on various forums within area of responsibility
- Strengthen the relationship between operation mines and the local community through procurement behaviour.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Work closely with internal business stakeholders to understand their needs, have regular reviews, and deal with issues and escalations.
- Responsible for implementation of ED & SD initiatives and the management thereof.

**4. Business Optimisation**
- In conjunction with the Co-CEO’s, provide business with procurement management services in support of strategic goals.
- Participate in the development, management and adherence of overall procurement strategies company-wide.
- Identify, manage and report procurement risk for the company
- Effective management of cost saving opportunities for the company as a whole as well as departmental budget.

**5. IT**
- Implement and monitor quality assurance systems that ensure the service delivery in the field meets internal client expectations.
- Ensure a disaster risk management system and plan is in place that will rehabilitate the organization in the event of either loss of premises or damage to IT infrastructure.
- Develop and execute the technology innovation strategy of the organisation in order to ensure a sustained competitive advantage through the effective use of technology, process efficiencies and innovation.
- Analyse the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
- Adherence and participation of all IT Audits.
- Identify, manage and report all IT risks within the business.
- Oversee the administration of Systems user accounts, permissions, and access rights for all IT Systems.
- Manage and ensure the security and stability of all IT Systems.

**Minimum Qualifications Needed**:

- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree

**Experience Needed**:

- Minimum of 8 years’ experience post qualification in a similar role preferably in the mining industry.

**Salary**: R70,000.00 per month
