**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Job Title**:Product Specialist

**KEY OUTPUTS**:
**The role is multi-disciplinary with the following key deliverables**:

- Expert on group risk product features and associated terms and conditions.
- Review of policy terms and conditions as part of risk management.
- Design and develop suitable group risk products in partnership with the pricing team.
- Ensure compliance of products to the relevant legislation.
- Comprehensive research on products offered in the group risk market.
- Engagement with reinsurers on product features and terms and conditions.
- Technical product support to the rest of the business, e.g., pricing, claims and business development teams.
- Ownership of product brochures and technical product content on the Hollard Group Risk website.
- Ensure that the language used in product brochures, quote documents and policies are suitable for the audience.
- Support IT and admin on product features required on the administration platform.
- Support on strategic business initiatives as determined by Hollard Group Risks business strategy.
- Provide Legal and Compliance with input from a product perspective.

**QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES**:

- Relevant Actuarial, Commerce or Legal degree.
- At least 5 years of Life insurance experience essential, preferably in the Group risk environment.
- Product design experience preferable.
- Good technical experience essential.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Self-starter.
