**Job Description**:
This role is dedicated to supporting newly onboarded, self-sourced accountants as they grow and develop their portfolios and client base. The primary focus is on enabling their long-term success while also retaining and expanding the existing portfolio of allocated accountants.

Location - 3 days per week in the Johannesburg office.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth of both new and existing accountants by supporting local execution of the MSP (Managed Service Provider) program.
- Develop business opportunities within a defined list of strategic accounting firms, with a focus on customer retention and upselling—particularly introducing and promoting Sage Intacct for Accountants to both new and existing partners.
- Represent Sage as a brand ambassador within the Accountants Forum and other industry networks—strengthening relationships, raising visibility, and reinforcing our commitment to the accounting community.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend regional events to promote Sage’s offerings and foster meaningful engagement.
- Provide expert onboarding, training, and development support to newly enrolled practices, ensuring a smooth and effective implementation of the MNSP program.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

- Bilingual with excellent telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literacy, especially in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Background or training in accounting and/or payroll
- SBCA/SBCP and/or Sage Intacct certification
- In-depth knowledge of the Accountants Edition and Sage partner programs
- Experience in product support and customer success

Preferred:

- Experience working in an accounting practice or completion of articles
- Formal qualification in Business Management or Accounting, or equivalent accounting-related studies
