Triple Eight has an exciting opportunity for a highly energetic and motivated business unit manager. You will be responsible in maintaining high-quality output across a portfolio of clients, including new business. This will require an obsession for operational, strategic, and creative excellence and making a valuable contribution to achieving that success. You will be responsible for leading the account management and production teams, building trust, clarity, and confidence with both internal and external stakeholders.
**Requirements/experience/skills**:
Take a leadership role in understanding and uncovering client motivations, needs and business challenges.
Lead client thinking, providing targeted, actionable solutions in partnership with creative and strategic leads.
Lead and oversee account management reports and cross discipline agency team to deliver world class campaigns.
Lead negotiations and resolving highly complex issues directly with top client contacts.?
Provide strategic oversight and leadership to attain revenue and profit targets.
Accountable for growth and profitability of client portfolio, ensuring accounts achieve set targets.
Proactively manage and accurately forecast revenue and resource requirements across portfolio of clients.
Oversee brand budgets including tracking, billing, reporting and client approvals
Unlock and contribute to new business efforts.
Identify internal/external business issues that may impact results and/or the quality of delivery.
With an astute ability to understand market and business challenges, and a great aptitude to read clients and truly appreciate what makes them tick, you will continually steer excellence within the agency, ensuring we are delivering the right services to clients to achieve their business objectives.
Work collaboratively with the specialist teams to understand client objectives and create strategies to deliver on these, ensuring the right activity is prioritized.
Mentor and develop the team in finding creative solutions to both client and internal challenges. Work with Account Directors to ensure forward-thinking on accounts and that we are pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients.
Support in new business pitches as and when required. Manage key partner relationships and ensure we are utilizing information shared to inform our client activity.
Understanding complex client needs and linking those needs into digital portfolio and capabilities. Articulating and differentiating the value proposition of digital portfolio to different customers and audiences.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Strong agency experience, delivering strategic BTL, TTL and digital solutions to clients.
A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently.
Approachable, supportive, and accountable for their own, the clients and the team’s performance and outputs. Forward thinking and solutions orientated.
Extremely collaborative across the agency. A commercial business winner with the admiration to operate at decision-making level, leading senior level client relationships, identifying opportunities, requirements / Experience / Skills: nd capitalizing on the resources around you to win work and deliver the goods.
