**SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR**:

- Cape Town, South Africa**YOUR MISSION**:
The Social Media Co-Ordinator is responsible for driving seasonal Regional Marketing Initiatives aligned with Global brand narrative on all Social Media platforms available to PUMA regional department. Lead, implement and manage together with the Media & Social Media Manager the social media strategy within the Country. Co-ordinate all social media platforms to ensure cohesive clear brand message for all areas of PUMA’s business, including PR alignment support.

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**
- Aligned communication strategy in place.
- Grow fanbase, interactions and engagement between 7 - 10% monthly.
- Effective communication of product/campaign stories via social media platforms.
- Prompt resolution of issues/ fast response time.
- Interaction with suppliers, partners, customer and internal staff.

**KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Develop Social Media Campaign calendars aligned with Local and Global strategies.

2. Provide daily, weekly and monthly update reports on all local Marketing activity.

3. Social Media engagement and management of local social media according to international guidelines, both strategically and creatively. Attend status meetings. Ensure timeous social media content is delivered. **Social Media engagement afterhours and on weekends.**

4. Develop content strategy and implement the posting of content on Social Media according to Global Guidelines. Monitor and analyze usage of content using analytics tools.

5 Work with business unit managers, creative agencies, content creators, partners and influencers to create local content for usage on PUMA owned channels.

6 Align with and support PR tasks including media seeding and PR admin.

7. Manage up-to-date knowledge of current trends and competitor activities.

National Senior Certificate and relevant tertiary qualification

Minimum 1 year experience in Social media environment

An understanding of the sports & teams PUMA supports.

Familiar with Social Media scheduling tools.

An interest in all things digital
