RetailNext is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Business Units. As a Human Resource Business Partner you will be responsible for assisting your assigned business unit with achieving its business goals through driving employee engagement best practices.

**What will you be doing**:
Assist leaders within their business unit to ensure they are able to meet business unit goals. You will support the leaders within the following areas:

- Partner with Talent Acquisition
- Onboarding: Training Processes, Connectedness within teams
- On-Going Management: Following the responsibilities within the manager toolkit: Continuous Performance Management, Growth and Development, Misc.: Coaching, Recognition, Motivation, Psychological Safety
- Team Alignment to team goals/outcome
- Coaching managers on areas of improvement (if needed)
- Change Management (new managers, leavers, etc.)
- Identifying Risks (leavers, performance, etc.)
- Work with managers within business units to ensure the success of any talent programs which includes but is not limited to: Compensation reviews, Performance Management and Reviews, Training and Development, and Other HR Programs/Perks/ProcessesProject Based Work: Work on projects aligned to your area of ownership and based on your specific assigned quarterly OKRs

**Skills**
- Ability to work with management at all levels and help to solve most reactive issues they are dealing with on their teams
- Provide excellcent customer service (responsiveness and availability) to the team members within your BU
- Being able to coach managers through reactive issues on their teams, through to successful resolution

**Knowledge**
- Understanding of Employee Lifecycle processes to be able to assist your teams through them for success
- Understanding of general HR practices such as performance issues management, employment law, and company policies
- Ability to understand the business purpose of your teams, their roles/responsibilities, and their ability to impact the organization

**Talents**
- Ability to be supportive and build trust with all employees and managers within your business unit, while being able to balance the best interests of the organization
- Ability to understand the business purpose of your teams, their roles/responsibilities, and their ability to impact the organization. Ability to use this understanding to help those teams to deliver desired business outcomes
- Be an owner for everything going on within your business unit in seeing through to resolution
