An exciting opportunity exists for a **Maintenance Artisan **at **Indigo Brands**, Epping, Cape Town. As the successful incumbent, you will have to assist Artisans with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks. Cleaning, Lubrication and inspection of utilities: machine and equipment. Minor repairs and painting of site utility machines, motors and equipment as per defined schedule. Responsible for the condition of Maintenance Workshop, Equipment and Yard. Finally you will be responsible for the inventory levels of Maintenance spares and parts.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- Assist Artisans with Planned - and Unplanned Maintenance Tasks
- General Cleaning and Housekeeping of the Maintenance Workshop, - Equipment and Yard
- Conduct Daily, Weekly and Monthly Site Wide Audits and Inspections of Compressors, Boilers, Extractor Fans, Motors, Chillers, Dryers Generators and Bus Bars
- Clean and Lubricate Site Utility Machines, Motors and Equipment
- Dismantling, Minor Repairs and Painting of Site Utility Machines, Motors and Equipment as Per Defined Schedule
- Monthly Inventory Take of Maintenance Spares and Parts
- Procurement and Collection and of Maintenance Spares and Parts

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a workshop / technical role
- Experience of stock take / cycle counts would be advantageous

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- NQF 2 Technical qualification would be advantageous

**Additional Requirements**:

- Technical / Mechanical Acumen
- Knowledge of Maintenance Tools and Equipment
- Read and write proficiently
- Valid Car License (Code 8)
