- Ensure external depo's maintain correct stocking levels
- Calculate stocking positions for master warehouse and depo's
- Run master planning with different scenarios on an ERP System to calculate the optimal demand plan
- Understand the factory capacities to assist with optimal production scheduling to reduce change over times
- Reduce number of emergency and short production runs
- Calculate & analyze sales forecast and sales history
- Scenario planning to formulate optimal distribution plan based on short term change in the environment
- Optimise outbound truck utilization
- Highlight FIFO violations (Manager stock aging)
- Tracking on time and in full deliveries
- Root cause investigations into short deliveries
- Mitigation of short deliveries by implementing strong controls
- Design and maintenance of reports to measure KPI
- Managing a team of 3 - 5 (Admin, Exports & Logistics Clerk) & upskilling of team members
- Driving continuous improvement through realistic goal setting and performance tracking

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management will be beneficial, however, not required. Experience is key.
- Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 Years + experience, with a stable career history and proven track record as a Demand Planner (FMCG)
- Strong analytical**, **written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong & proven track record of coordination, logistics and planning skills
- Exp. within a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG) of 150 Products +
- Exp. as a demand planner dealing with at least 10 depots at any given time
- Exp. in using MRP function on ERP system (Syspro, SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Strong excel skills
