Demand Planner

Our client has an opportunity available for a Demand Planner based in Cape Town.
**Requirements**:
- A pertinent education in Demand Planning.
- Strong analytical, negotiating, and customer service skills.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- ERP Systems Knowledge.
- Working overtime and long hours when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of the demand planning process and the production planning process.
- Solid forecasting and planning knowledge, understanding, and experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Meet dietary requirements and stock holding goals.
- Creating weekly and monthly forecast reports using statistics.
- Enhance forecasting approaches, methods, and processes
- Developing and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
- Assessing the impact of forecast accuracy.
- Ensuring that forecasting procedures are followed.
- Analyze and compile all the information needed to create the sales projection.
- Suggest modifications to forecast and inventory goals considering shifts in demand and market trends.
- Prepare measurements for forecast, inventory, and replenishment and report them to senior management.
- Update management reports every week and every day.
- Strategic and operational participation in all demand planning activities, including cost-cutting.
- Use internal systems for data analysis and reporting effectively.
