Our well known **Commercial Dealer client **based in **Germiston, Gauteng** currently has a vacancy for a **Manager: Service** area looking for a a strong person with leadership skills and who is passionate about ensuring good customer service within the workshop space. The **Manager: Service** reports directly to the **Dealer Principal**.

**Position Overview**

The **Manager: Service** is responsible for developing and implementing service standards that will ensure excepetional customer service withing the service workshop.

**Specific Role Responsibilities**
- To control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhanced customer relations.
- To maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers.
- Supervision of staff, management of performance, discipline and other staff management related functions.
- Ensuring that the Service Department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls and composite figures.
- To ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through efficient labour utilization, productivity and sales.
- Ability to ensure excellence in customer service.
- Ability to maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Matric
- A minimum of 3-years’ Service Manager’s experience is essential
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic Technician
- Valid Driver’s License C1. EC will be an added advantage
- Fully computer literate
- Kerridge experience will be beneficial
