**Responsibilities**:
- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects /initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.
- Plan for handling work outputs, pull together interdependent activities and specify priorities, standards and procedures to ensure tactical excellence.
- Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability.
- Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the business.
- Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and business's internal compliance procedures and requirements.
- Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the bank.
- Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialization and identify risks.
- Use the insights gained through integrated business reports to measure success and realign tactical strategy implementation objectives appropriately.
- Innovate by finding the best fit solution for the situation such as the flexibility of delivery and customized solutions which result in more efficient outcomes.
- Obtain a thorough analysis of the client's business, process and systems requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of the technical trends, commercial market, competition and trends in the market.
- Provide input and guidance on research conducted by team in order to identify ideal target markets and new entrants for product launches ensuring that new products are relevant and viable and are customer centric.
- Review proposed solutions, products and enhancements (at a detailed level), and provide input and guidance to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives and is aligned to business and FirstRand objectives.
- Draw on knowledge and experience to identify, investigate and solve complex business problems, and in doing so develop new solutions or enhancements and propose recommendations to business.
- Review the business case and advise on specifications (as required) for new or enhanced business solution.
- Ensure continuous improvement of all business solutions.
- Collaborate with product houses and business to prioritize and rationalize projects/ initiatives and manage integration where required.
- Understand resource requirements and identify and coordinate teams with appropriate skill sets to achieve project outcomes.
- Oversee conceptualization, design and implementation of projects across relevant product house, business units or segments.
- Monitor risks and mitigation plans across teams and advise accordingly.
- Ensure teams adherence to due diligence is undertaken prior, during and post project implementation. Ensure data is analyzed and interpreted to identify opportunities to drive growth and opportunities for efficiencies and improvement.
- Conduct trend and impact analysis to identify the need to build new or leverage existing solutions.
- Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances.
- Enable an inclusive culture that upholds the bank's diversity and transformation guiding principles
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across the FR
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- B. Comm Degree /Honours in the relevant field
- 5-8 years as Business Solutions (Retail Collections)
- Exposure to the Platform and Digital Environment
- Financial/Banking industry
- Business analysis and process management experience
- Understanding of business operating models and experience in business optimisation and or transformation
- Deep understanding and experience in banking regulations and risk management and strong stakeholder Relationship
