Perform duties of a waiter/waitress in any area of the Hotel as directed by Management
Sets up service areas prior to service by cleaning the area and preparing service

Upselling of all Food and Beverage items.

Take orders from GUESTS, set up accordingly and serve food and beverages according to standard.

Acquisition and Maintenance of GUESTS by anticipating, meeting and exceeding GUESTS’ expectations by delivering exceptional service with great attitude, commitment and professionalism

Meet and greet all our GUESTS with a friendly and welcoming smile

Operate point of sale system

Maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas

Deal with GUEST complaints and queries immediately and efficiently

Cleans restaurant / buffet area after service and prepare areas for the following service time

Ensuring storerooms are neat and clean

Conference & Banqueting service and set ups

Assist with basic count of stock items

The employee is familiar with and performs to the minimum GUEST Service Standards laid down within his/ her area of work and responsibility

**Requirements**:
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent

Recent work experience in a same or similar position

Excellent communication skills in English, written, verbal and telephone etiquette

Excellent GUEST relations skills, GUEST service driven, extremely passionate for this industry, a TEAM player with a positive attitude

Well groomed, presentable and professional manner

Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts - to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
