Overview
The Sales Development Representative is crucial to growing our business. The focus of this position is developing qualified prospects for our sales process through our inbound marketing efforts and prescribed outbound sequences.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative with a natural inclination for selling and excel in a competitive, merit-based environment to manage accounts and skyrocket customer growth. We value curiosity, attention to detail and an openness to learning and adapting. If you have a consultative approach to selling, experience pitching sales to any audience, and promoting great client relationships — this job is for you.
The inbound sales process is directed toward prospects who have shown interest in our product or service by reaching out to Ladder and booking a “Growth Review” or salesperson via Zoom. SDR’s will BANT qualified prospects and gather critical information to be passed along to the Sales Team for the upcoming Growth Consultation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify commercial opportunities and implement innovations
- Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
- Execute outbound sales sequences within Ladder’s CRM
- Build internal Growth Discovery Documents for new prospects
- Maintain data within CRM (Hubspot)
- Effectively partner and work across the sales and marketing teams
- Develop insights into prospective clients to help close deals
- Schedule appointments Growth Consults for Sales team
- Nurture positive working relationships with clients through proficient business practices and exemplary standards
**Requirements**:
- Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Ladder
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
- Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
- Bring new ideas to the company
- Contribute fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
- Proficiency working in a remote environment and maintaining momentum
- Fluency in English and excellent video conference skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing space: paid search, paid social, creative development, agency space
- 1-3 years of software sales experience
- College Degree BA/BS degree or HS + relevant experience
