We are regulated by the FSC in Mauritius, BoG in Ghana, BoT in Tanzania, BCC in the DRC, and FCA in the UK. **The Role** We are looking for a Revenue Assurance Analyst to join the newly formed Revenue team - based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Revenue team functions across the organization, inclusive of Mobile Network Operators, Money Transfer Organization, Enterprise clients as well as B.I.G (Banks, Institutions and Governments). The Revenue Assurance Analyst will work closely with Commercial pricing and Commercial teams, IT and Finance teams, in enhancing the calculations underpinning the revenue line, as well as ensuring precision in its implementation. Pricing analysis on credit lending terms may form part of the role at some stage. This position is location agnostic, with the current team based in the UK, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mauritius, and South Africa. **You might be a good fit if you are/have**: - Analytically minded, highly numerate and detail oriented - Strong critical thinking, research and problem-solving - Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint - Well organized, structured, and methodical - Ability to engage stakeholders, providing insight - Innovative, open to new ways of doing things, thought leadership - Ability to work with big data as well as high volume, low value data - Resilient, self-driven individual, holding accountability - Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure - Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Enhancing the revenue line through analysis and insight, thereby ensuring greater competitiveness and profitability - Work with the Commercial team to understand and give input into the formulation of the pricing structures negotiated with partners - Ensure the pricing structures are accurately captured on the billing platform and are kept up to date - Check that commissions and foreign exchange margins are calculated correctly by the billing platform, and discuss any changes required with the development team - Ensuring calculations are implemented within the IT platforms with precision and sound testing, exception reporting quality control - Ensuring revenues are captured accurately and timeously in the accounting system - Working with the reconciliation and settlements team to ensure that the expected revenue line is reached within their processes - Providing historical trend analysis of revenue figures by lines of business, geographical location etc., and discussing possible future trends with the commercial BU’s - Engaging key stakeholders, attending relevant forums and committees, and staying abreast with company strategy and industry movements - Minimum Bachelors’ Degree, preferably in Finance, Credit, Technology, Statistics or similar - At least 4 years of experience in a Finance or similar role - Sound analytics/financial analytics experience - Experience in ensuring that calculations are correctly embedded in IT platforms - Experience working remotely and/or in a globally dispersed team - Pan-African exposure is a bonus **W**hy work for us**: - We are the cutting edge of fintech in Africa - Ranked by Fast Company as Second Most Innovative Company in Africa - Attractive package including flexible benefits and competitive remuneration - Diverse, inclusive, gender-balanced company culture representing >28 nationalities and speaking>20 languages - Massive growth potential - We operate a flexible remote working and unlimited leave policy - We solve relevant problems for Africa and the world to create access for the millions of users who also believe in
