**Type of appointment**:
**Permanent appointment**

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Information Technology-related modules, in the faculty on a full-time basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- BSc Honours degree in Computer Science or
- BSc Honours degree in Information Technology (majoring in Programming and Mathematics) with modules such as Programming languages C#, Java, Python, and Web Programming, and Android

**Experience**:

- 1 -2 years or relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience

- Software and Security Engineering

- Project: Mobile Application and Web Services
- Computer Network Technologies
- Usability Engineering
- Network Security

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- Quality Assurance
- Management of At-risk students
