An opportunity exists for a **Divinity** **Teacher**to join the St Peter’s Prep School from **May 2025**.

**D**uties (not an exhaustive list)**:
- Teach the Anglican Divinity Curriculum to Grades 3 - 7 boys and girls
- Lead chapel services when required across all grades
- Manage and train servers
- Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
- Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant Qualification
- At least 3 years’ full-time experience teaching
- SACE Registration
- Completed Anglicare Counselling Course would be advantageous
- Anglican Lay Minister’s Licence would be advantageous
- Active involvement in parish ministry
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, with a methodical approach to work
- Good classroom management skills
- An energetic and inspirational approach to learning and motivation
- A values-based approach to teaching
- The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications and policies
- A willingness to support and mentor, and to be mentored
- The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary
- A commitment to ongoing personal development, while fostering the love for a Christ-centred life
