Responsible for preparing parts, sanding and assemblies for painting of truck trailers
- Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula
- Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition
- Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors
- Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
- Scrutinize and measure parts to maintain statistical process control charts.
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
- Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
- Follow company requirements to select paint, and match colors of paint following specified color charts.
- Responsible for material and minor maintenance.

**Requirements**:
Spray-painting certificate or qualification.

Trailer technician by knowledge and experience with at least 3-years’ experience.

Focus on details and quality of work on trailers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to R10 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Centurion, Gauteng 0051: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

License/Certification:

- Spray Painter Trade Test (required)
