Spray-Painter Needed

Location: Centurion

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary: R8 000 – R10 000 per month (based on experience & skill)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Spray Painter to join our manufacturing workshop. You will be responsible for high-quality finishing of steel frames using an air-compressor spray-gun system, along with paint mixing and surface preparation.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow quickly within a fast-expanding business and take on more responsibility as the workshop scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spray-paint steel frames using a compressor-based spray gun
  • Mix paints correctly (ratios, consistency, finish)
  • Perform surface preparation: sanding, cleaning, priming, masking
  • Ensure neat, consistent, high-quality finishes
  • Maintain spray equipment and keep the workspace clean
  • Assist with occasional grinding or fitting when needed

Requirements

  • Experience in spray-painting (industrial, steel, automotive, or metalwork)
  • Ability to mix paints and understand application techniques
  • Good eye for detail and pride in neat workmanship
  • Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
  • Ambitious, hard-working, and eager for growth
