**purpose**:

- To deliver risk assurance assignments that cover governance, design adequacy and operating effectiveness of the internal control environments**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification - Bachelors Degree in Law, Risk Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Audit
- Preferred Qualification - Post graduate Degree in Law, Risk Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Audit
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level**additional requirements**:

- Minimum Qualification - Bachelors Degree in Law, Risk Management, Commerce, Finance, accounting or Audit
- Preferred Qualification - Risk Management, Accounting or Audit experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in risk management, monitoring and assurance.
- Assurance experience critical
- Technical Pre-requisite: - Exposure to and experience in controls testing as a discipline - Understanding of audit procedures and assurance ambit - Data Analytics & Insights - Knowledge of Banking and Investment Products - Knowledge and exposure to Monitoring systems & platforms

**responsibilities**:

- Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
- Perform risk assurance specialist tasks
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Deliver high quality reports regarding compliance risks that have been identified through compliance monitoring reviews and provide recommendations on sustainable remediation programmes
- Execute Group Risk and Control Monitoring processes, as per the approved minimum standards, across the Group to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility
- Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
- Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
