Risk Assurance Specialist

**What will you do?**

**Santam Broker Solutions** has a position available for a **Risk Assurance Specialist**who will be based at **Hill on Empire in Parktown**. This position falls under the **Quality Assurance** function, which operates with a management mandate, providing an independent, objective assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality and service standards. We are looking for a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role reporting to a** Manager: Assurance, Risk and Compliance.**
- The successful incumbent will be required to perform quality assurance and due diligence reviews on all portfolio administration business. The scope includes:

- performing quality assurance reviews to provide independent assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing their overall operational governance processes, quality and service standards.
- support the Business to discharge their responsibilities relating to the compliance risk management process as required by relevant regulatory requirements, applicable codes of conduct and minimum standards.

**Qualification and Experience**
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of risk management and risk management practice
- Exposure to a Quality Assurance environment and Internal Audit
- Underwriting, premium collection and claims business experience
- Knowledge of FAIS
- Understanding of the regulatory and business environment of the Short-Term Insurance industry.
- IT Governance & Information Systems Audit
- Valid driver’s licence (able to do domestic travel )
