**About the Job**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordination of media storage
- Download incoming media
- Ensure files are named and stored according to the protocol
- Ensure quality checks are conducted according to the studio processes
- Prepare the process type recommended according to the quality and content of the media
- Ensure that file reformats are completed as required
- Ensure that the clients needs are correctly interpreted and met
- Complete preparation for sessions
- Ensure that placement of groups in Pro-tools is accurate
- Ensure markers are accurately inputted and exported on production systems
- Ensure client media is re-formatted correctly
- Comp the session
- Comp session reviewed according to checklist (e.g. missing characters, lines, dropped accents, sync, pronunciation and recording errors)
- Control the quality of the media
- Coordinate revert delivery to client
- Deliver full session to client

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in either Sound Engineering or Film
- Experience in media or film industry

Specific Skills
- Protools
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Postproduction processes
- English and Afrikaans comprehension
- Driver’s license (offices based in Airport Industria, Cape Town)

**Salary**: R9,000.00 - R11,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

- Post Production: 1 year (preferred)
- Media Quality Checking (Dubbing Experience): 1 year (preferred)
