Head of Sales

**ROLE & CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:
A minimum of 5 years experience in a Sales Executive Management role.
Sales experience in the Publishing industry an added advantage.
Relationships and working with Government is a prerequisite
Ability to identify and take action with growth opportunities
Understanding of both the Schools and TVET markets
Maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in the education space
Degree in Business Management or similar is preferred
MBA or equivalent qualification will be advantageous
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Networking and Building relationships with government at all levels
Develop a sales and marketing strategic plan
Collaborate with key drivers of curriculum development Provincially and Nationally, including researching new products and concepts
Drive Growth within existing markets
Find new market opportunities and take action to stimulate growth in these across all Provinces
Do monthly co-visits with provincial managers and sales team members
Performance Management and resourcing of staff
Drive departmental planning of activities, campaigns and strategic sessions
Design and implement an Operational Model to support the national sales plans
Oversee the development of Provincial marketing plans and align to overall plan
Track and monitor the implementation of provincial plans
Manage National Sales Department Profitability with measurable annual growth and sustainability
Co-ordinate collaboration with other departments, i.e Publishing, Marketing, Customer Services, Tvet, etc with regards to sales operational issues
Compile monthly dashboards reporting on departmental highlights and activities
Compilation of directors report indicating the high level achievements across National Sales
