Restaurant Manager

Strolla, Sea Point is looking for a **hands-on, hospitality-obsessed Restaurant Manager** to join our team and take service to the next level.
We’re not after clipboard managers who hide in the office. We need someone who thrives on the floor — greeting guests, leading the team by example, and turning ordinary shifts into smooth, high-energy service.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Be the **face of the floor** - welcoming guests, keeping service sharp, and making sure every table leaves happy.
- Work closely with the General Manager, who’ll handle the majority of the administrative side, while you focus on people, presence, and service.
- **Train, motivate, and build the FOH team** - creating a culture of warmth, professionalism, and accountability.
- Keep things running tight during busy shifts - from morning coffees to sundowners by the sea.
- Partner with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service across the board.
**Who we’re looking for**:
- You’ve got a few years of experience in the restaurant world (hotel restaurant experience is a big plus).
- You’re **energetic, hands-on, and thrive on being in the thick of service**.
- Guests love you, and staff respect you - because you lead by example, not by barking orders.
- You’re serious about standards, but you keep things fun.
- You’ve got a knack for spotting problems before they hit the fan and solving them with style.
- **Tech-savvy enough to keep the admin in check** - comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
