**Marketing Responsibilities**:
**Marketing Planning and management**:

- Compile quarterly Sales and Marketing Initiatives and manage all aspects of execution for all partners
- Campaign and media planning per partner, per channel
- Brief internal creative team and advertising agency on relevant materials required
- Internal and external stakeholder buy-in
- Execute all planned campaigns
- Weekly & Monthly reporting
- Manage and execute all above-the-line and below-the-line marketing campaigns in multiple African territories
- Manage and execute customer database marketing, social media campaign planning and management, website management
- Manage the budgeting process on an ongoing basis
- Monthly Proof Of Action Reports per partner, per area of business
- Support all resellers with marketing materials, templates and all other potential marketing-related needs
- Liase with external advertising and media agency on campaign planning, media planning and execution
- Manage distribution of marketing assets to partner stores across multiple territories
- Manage relationship with brand principles of various brands in the group
- Work closely with brand principles for the development, approval and execution of marketing strategy and plans
- Build, manage and maintain relationships with relevant partners and Authorised Resellers
- Brief creative team on artwork required to support marketing activities

**Merchandising**:

- Manage end-to-end the retail merchandising and expansion
- Including but not limited to:

- Fixture development and refurbishment
- Fixture shipment and delivery
- Fixture in-store allocation selection
- Demo unit roll out
- Store Audits
- Planogram development and management
- In-store merchandising elements (security, posters, flyers, staff)
- Fixture maintenance

**Social Media Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a quarterly plan identifying target media, story angles, and roll-out activities, in order to ensure planned, sustained and strategic advertising exposure.
- Work closely with local teams to ensure all messaging and plans are relevant for local markets.
- Work closely with Community Manager to Keep up-to-date with daily social media queries, complaints, feedback etc.
- Brief creative team on artwork required to support marketing activities

**Educational Requirements**:

- Matric
- An industry related degree/diploma and minimum of six years working experience in Marketing or Brand management

**Work Experience Required**:

- Relevant industry experience of 7+ years, with 4 years Team Management experience
- Retail / FMCG Marketing experience required
- Understanding of emerging and mature markets advantageous

- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
- Decisive and effective problem-solver
- High level of flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity
