We are seeking a _**_Global Head of Technical (HoT)_**_ to lead ARC Power’s global technical function - shaping how our digital systems, software, and metering infrastructure are designed, integrated, and governed across all countries._

**About the Role**
In this role, you will provide strategic and people-focused leadership across ARC Power’s technical and digital landscape - ensuring our systems, data, and tools enable efficient delivery and innovation across all markets.

You will work closely with the CTO and other senior leaders to shape and execute ARC Power’s global strategy, translating ideas into practical systems, standards, and outcomes that strengthen our growing international operations. Your leadership will define how technology connects and supports the business. Spanning systems integration, digital architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and innovation.

This is a hands-on functional leadership role that combines strategic oversight with people development.

You will:

- Guide and mentor local technical leads, building capability and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, integration and governance of ARC Power’s digital ecosystem. From metering and billing platforms to analytics, automation, and information security.
- Manage relationships with technology partners and ensure value, reliability, and alignment with global standards.
- Support local teams through regular engagement, training, and on-site visits, ensuring seamless implementation and knowledge sharing across countries.

You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate functions - driving innovation, problem-solving complex technical challenges, and seeing the direct results of your work in the expansion of sustainable, reliable energy access.

This role is ideal for an ambitious, thoughtful, and people-centred leader who wants to make a tangible difference while building world-class technical capability in a purpose-driven business.

**Preferred Experience & Skills**
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (postgraduate or chartered preferred).
- 10 + years’ experience in systems architecture, IT management, or digital transformation within utilities, energy, or telecoms.
- Strong background in integration, data governance, cybersecurity, and smart-metering systems.
- Proven ability to lead global or multi-site technical teams.
- Clear communicator able to translate complex systems into practical outcomes.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and culturally aware.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly
