We are an established, fast paced Bakery and Café, well known for our excellent products and service. We are currently in the process of expanding our business and further developing strong financial and administrative systems. We are looking for a strong team player who can work both independently and under supervision and who is committed to continuous learning. Excellent communication skills, consistent attention to detail and great organisational skills are key in this position.
As a Financial Administrator, you will be assisting in all areas of administration including but not limited to, Finance, Housekeeping, Payroll, Kitchen Admin, Front of House Admin, Procurement, Food & Beverage Admin and General Admin.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain meticulous financial records.
- Process invoices, reconcile payments, and receipts with impeccable accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile daily sales and cash transactions adeptly.
- Contribute to payroll processing - Timesheets / Clock-in system
- Compile comprehensive financial reports to inform management decisions.
- Collaborate with the finance and production teams on diverse administrative tasks.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Intermediate to Advance level in Ms Excel
- Must be Tech-savvy - have high technical aptitude, computer literacy and digital competence
- 2-4 years’ experience as a Finance / Accounts Clerk
- Experience with accounting software is a must - i.e. Xero / Pastel or QuickBooks
- Very strong administration skills
- Record keeping - paper based and electronic filing systems
- Knowledge of Timekeeping systems / Leave records
- Commitment to precision and excellent organizational skills
- Great communication skills and strong team player
**Education**:
- High School (matric) (required)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (required)
- Accounting software: 2 years (required)
