**The Role**

The Sportsbook Content Executive plays a vital role in optimising site content, ensuring effective promotions, and delivering a seamless betting experience for our customers. Working closely with various internal and external teams, this role contributes directly to Virgin Bet's goals by enhancing the presentation of sportsbook data and ensuring content aligns with marketing and product initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in a new team, shaping the content strategy for the South African market and helping to train and mentor new team members.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update SA sportsbook content across platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the sporting calendar.
- Create daily SA sportsbook content schedules and execute detailed content plans in line with our agreed localised content strategy.
- Deliver all SA site content following the signed-off schedule, managing content live and making real-time decisions when required.
- Own the carousel banner management process, from building to execution.
- Build and maintain all coupons on site, regularly reviewing performance and benchmarking against key local marketplace competitors.
- Carry out daily tasks within the sportsbook CMS, such as config and translations for betting content, including market names, grouping and layout templates.
- Ensure all sports betting content is translated using correct terminology and an engaging tone of voice to suit South African sports fans.
- Regularly test all key customer journeys to ensure a first-class customer experience is always delivered.
- Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and Trading teams to ensure content supports campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor live betting events and ensure timely updates to promotional content.

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Strong understanding of sports and betting markets.
- Experience with content management systems and sportsbook platforms.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and reviewing content.
- Ability to clearly communicate with cross-functional teams and escalate issues effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to support others.
- Flexible attitude with a willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- A customer-focused approach, always considering the customer experience when managing content.
- Proactive in identifying content issues and suggesting improvements.
- Familiarity with QA processes and product testing.
